Measure around the base of your neck, keeping one finger between your neck and the tape measure.

Chest

Measure around the fullest part of your chest.

Sleeve

Bend your elbow 90 degrees and place your hand on your hip. Hold the tape at the centre back of your neck. Measure across your shoulder to your elbow and down your wrist. The total length is your sleeve length.

Rated 5 out of 5 by CanadianRN from Gorgeous and COMFORTABLE maxi dress! I so rarely write reviews, and it’s even more rare for me to buy a maxi dress! Also lighter coloured dresses are more rare in my closet than darker/black ones. TBH, I actually only tried this dress on because I was with my husband (which is even MORE rare than all those other things, haha!) and he thought it was nice and told me he thought it would look nice on me. I was like okay sure, no harm in trying it on. Oh my gosh I fell in love with this in the fitting room and walked out of the store with it! It fits SO nicely, and is super pretty. I’m usually a L in WHO clothes, and this large has a little bit of room, which is nice since I have gained a little bit of weight recently (that I’m trying to take off). The other review also mentions how this dress runs a bit big, and I agree with that, so if you’re in between sizes I would recommend sizing down. What also struck me is how comfortable this is; you’d think the slightly lacy top would be scratchy or uncomfortable but it’s not. The skirt part is so lightweight and flowy, with a white slip underneath that goes down to the top of the knee so that the green fabric doesn’t show through. It’s already hot in my part of Canada (Victoria) so I can already wear this dress, although I haven’t yet, since I only recently bought it. I’m looking forward to wearing it though. I definitely recommend this, so if you’re on the fence, go for it!
