WAREHOUSE ONE WE CARE

Our commitment to you and the environment

FOR THE GOOD OF TOMORROW

At Warehouse One, we believe it is important to offer clothing made with our customers in mind. This philosophy applies both to our extended size offerings and The way our clothing is manufactured.

1680 HERITAGE COLLECTION

Our collection of men’s flannel shirts and cozy sweaters made from recycled fibres

‌Our efforts to produce more sustainable clothing began near the end of 2018 with our men’s wear line 1680 Heritage. This collection of men’s super-soft flannel plaid shirts and cozy fleece sweaters is made using recycled fibres to consume fewer natural resources.

‌Following this successful product launch, we then expanded our work to tackle the immense environmental impact that comes from manufacturing denim. Our solution was the Eco-Wash process, which uses 70% less water, 45% less energy, and 65% less chemicals than traditional denim manufacturing.

This process now expands beyond just our jeans and is used to make a selection of our men’s & women’s joggers. We hope to expand this process to other styles in years to come. Look for the blue We Care logo while shopping online and in stores to identify these styles!

We are continually striving to lessen our environmental impact and make sustainable fashion choices accessible to our customers.

We didn’t stop there, though! An ever-expanding selection of our jeans are now crafted using the Repreve process, which creates polyester from recycled plastic bottles. This process helps us reduce our use of natural resource, as well as divert waste from landfills and oceans.

‌Our newest initiative has been a partnership with the Better Cotton Initiative. BCI Cotton is a global not-for-profit program that governs cotton production to ensure sustainability. Their mission is to help cotton communities survive and thrive, while protecting and restoring the environment.

Today Better Cotton is grown in 24 countries around the world and accounts for 20% of global cotton production. In the 2020-21 cotton season, 2.2 million licensed farmers grew 4.7 million metric tonnes of Better Cotton.

Here at Warehouse One, we have crafted our women’s Spring 2023 denim using Better Cotton, and plan to continue this initiative in years to come.

Our goal at Warehouse One is to help our customers look and feel their best. It is our responsibility then to balance what we take with what we give back. In this way, we are continually striving to lessen our environmental impact and make sustainable fashion choices accessible to our customers.
